simple text
Classic, simple text means that only the most basic things need to be formatted. These are roughly the following: main/paragraph text, chapter title, subtitle, lists, table of contents.
complex text
Complex text is "complex" because it goes beyond simple text in terms of formatting. This can mean that there is a lot of additional custom formatting within the text. For example, all personal names must be capitalized. Or special tables has to be created. Perhaps different figures and visual needs can make the design more complex.
